Theresa L. Utlaut, Ph.D.
Founder and Managing Partner
Dr. Utlaut is a statistics and data science leader with 25+ years of experience driving innovation, quality, and performance in high-tech manufacturing and analytics. She specializes in analytics strategy, machine learning, and quality systems—helping organizations transform complex data into actionable insight.
Theresa’s professional career includes senior technical and leadership roles at Intel, where she led teams developing advanced analytics and AI solutions across multiple technology nodes. She holds a Ph.D. in Statistics and an M.S. in Statistics from Oregon State University, and she is completing an M.S. in Computer & Information Technology from University of Pennsylvania in April 2026. She is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and the American Society for Quality, recognizing sustained contributions and professional leadership in statistics and quality.
She is dedicated to creating analytics solutions that deliver clarity, efficiency, and measurable results.
Diaa Eldin M. Nassar, Ph.D.
Partner
Dr. Nassar is an engineering leader with 25+ years of experience in high-reliability, low-maintenance data systems and solutions. He specializes in manufacturing automation, software architecture, data analysis algorithms/visualization, where he consistently helped teams achieve top results within tight budgets.
Diaa’s professional career included engineering and leadership roles with Intel and Halliburton. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University, as well as a B.Sc. from Cairo University.
He is enthusiastic about creating user-centric solutions that drive business success & growth.
David Shykind, Ph.D.
Partner
Dr. Shykind received his PhD in Chemistry from U.C. Berkeley in 1989, completed a fellowship at the California Institute of Technology in 1991 and has worked on the leading edge of microelectronics and semiconductor technology development for over three decades. His work has spanned the entire design and manufacturing process; from circuit and platform design to statistical process control, photolithography / OPC, wet and dry etch chemistry, fault isolation / failure analysis, optical microscopy, defect / process metrology and directed self-assembly (DSA) patterning.
In addition, as a biochemist he has developed foundational IP for microelectronic biomedical devices and contributed to the development of coronary artery stent technology. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and over 20 patents in these fields.
He is delighted to entertain challenging new problems in physics, chemistry, biomedicine and electrical engineering.
